How it started

Boyde's Exterminating Company was established in 1990 by Mr. Robert Boyde. Since then the company has worked with hundreds of homeowners, hotels and restaurants in central Ohio and has earned a solid reputation for getting the job done.

The shop sits at 1967 Dunning Rd, Columbus, OH 43219, on the east side of the city. That address has been the company's home on its website and its public listings for as long as there have been either.

Who you will talk to

Robert J. Boyde Jr. is the owner. Customers know him as Mr. Boyde, Rob, Robert and Mr. B, and they say so in their reviews. We keep our approach simple. We ask what you are seeing, ask about allergies and pets, inspect, treat the places the pest lives and travels, and tell you what let it in. Follow-up runs biweekly, monthly, bimonthly or as needed, and you pick what makes sense for the building.

Bed bugs have been a focus here for a long time. By 2016 this company was already writing about the bed bug comeback in Columbus and giving customers detailed prep instructions, and that prep work still matters more than any single product.
